Reagan Hess’ sensational freshman season continues.

One week after winning L-L League 100 and long jump titles, Annville-Cleona’s multi-sport standout garnered a gold medal on Friday in her trip to the District 3-AA championships at Shippensburg University.

Hess leaped 18-0 ¾ to win the long jump title; she went 17-10 ½ in the L-L finals last week. Hess’ winning jump on Friday came on her second attempt in the preliminaries.

It was a busy day for Hess on Friday; she also qualified for the 100 finals and 200 finals, and she had to run in those trial events while trying to sew up the long jump crown.

Hess has qualified for the PIAA finals in the long jump.

Hess' teammate, Sidni Peiffer, won the district high jump earlier Friday.
