LANCASTER - Pequea Valley athletic director Greg Fantazzi had a vision.
And his vision has come to fruition.
Fantazzi recently approached his fellow L-L League athletic directors about starting an athletic Hall of Fame.
And at their last meeting, the league's athletic directors gave Fantazzi's idea a thumbs up.
The Lancaster-Lebanon League Athletic Hall of Fame is open for business. The committee is comprised of Fantazzi, Garden Spot's Todd Reitnouer, Lampeter-Strasburg's Branden Lippy, Lebanon Catholic's Mike Miller and L-L League executive president Dick Balderston.
According to LLAHF documents, nominees should include: Coaches, principals/superintendents, athletic directors, officials and L-L League supporters.
The committee is not accepting nominations for athletes at this time.
The committee will accept nominations until the third week in October every fall. The committee will select up to four inductees per year, with a two-thirds majority vote needed for entrance into the LLAHF. Honorees will be recognized at a ceremony.
