Seventh-seeded Manheim Central needed overtime to finally bounce Conrad Weiser 52-50 Tuesday in District 3-AAA first-round action.
In Lancaster, Matt Walsh was the sharpshooter Conrad Weiser couldn't stop. Walsh popped in a game-high 24 points, including seven in bonus time to chase the Barons (22-3) through to the quarterfinal round. Teammate Taylor Funk did his part, as well, netting 12 of his 14 points in the second half.
10th-seeded Conrad Weiser (15-8) got a combined 34 points from Andrew Orr (21 points) and Dexter Jordan, but it wasn't enough. The Lancaster-Lebanon Section III champs earned a spot opposite second-seeded West York (23-2) in Friday's quarterfinal tilt at Giant Center.
