Bishop McDevitt used a strong fourth quarter to turn an eight-point deficit into a 43-36 win over Biglerville in a District 3-AA girls’ basketball game Tuesday night.
The Crusaders (7-15) outscored the visiting Canners 17-5 in the final quarter to pull out the win and advance to Friday’s quarterfinals, where they will face top-seeded York Catholic.
Rachel Corrigan led McDevitt with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Lauren Purcell was the only other Crusader in double figures, finishing with 10.
Rebecca Isaac led Biglerville, which finishes the season at 6-8, with 17 points.
