The Mid-Penn Swim League concluded the first leg of its postseason last weekend with the Divisional and All-Star Meets.
Latshmere's Nathan Smith, a Susquehanna Twp. grad, made another strong showing at the MPSL All-Star Meet.
Smith, who captured state silver medals in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle during high school season, won both sprints in the boys' 15 and over group Sunday at Annville-Cleona Pool. He also anchored Latshmere's 200 free relay with Lucas Haywood, Michael Senyak and Zach Lauer.
The top eight finishers in individual events and the top four relay finishers advanced to Saturday's Mid-Cap Superstars Meet at Hershey against the All-Stars from the Capital Area Swim League.
