Red Land's Connor Murray clocked a 23.03 to win the 50 freestyle, while Boiling Springs' Shane Hallett claimed second in the 100 breaststroke Monday at the Dallastown Invitational.

The event was originally scheduled for Dec. 29, but it was postponed due to the inclement weather over the weekend.

Murray, who also finished third in the 100 freestyle, was the only local swimmer to finish first. Murray and the rest of Red Land finished fourth out of five teams as Matt Loch and Jeff Gillispie were sixth in the 200 IM and 100 fly, respectively.

Unbeaten Cedar Crest finished third in the team standings behind champion Dallastown and runner-up York Suburban.

The Falcons' Alex Dishong finished fourth in the 100 fly and fifth in the 50 free and swam lead on a 200 free relay team that finished fourth.

Daniel Neiswender and Glaucio Silva added fourth place finishes in the 50 free and 500 free for Crest.

Boiling Springs finished fifth in the standings and was led by Hallett's silver in the 100 breast. Hallett, the defending District 3-AA champ in the breaststroke, lost by .14 seconds to York Suburban's Nolan Walker.
