Big Spring Tournament: Kylie Brandt and Lydia George scored two goals apiece as Big Spring popped CD East 5-0 in the title game that was shortened to a half by nasty weather. Earlier, Lindsay Bower and Brandt each scored twice as the host Bulldogs walloped Bishop McDevitt 8-1.
Spring Grove Tournament: Casey Dombrowski, Elisha Hallet, Mary Spisak and Jillian Susi pocketed finishes as Boiling Springs trimmed Bermudian 4-1 in the final. Earlier, Spisak, Susi and Katie Webber each rolled in two goals in the Bubblers’ 10-0 trouncing of New Oxford.
Biglerville Tournament: Katie Camera collected three goals — all in the second half — as the host Canners claimed their own event with a come-from-behind 6-4 victory over Middletown. Karlee Deibler and Johnessa Mummert each scored twice as the Blue Raiders opened a 4-1 lead. ... Earlier, Deibler and Mummert rang up goals as Middletown fashioned a 2-0 shutout of Greencastle.
