LANCASTER - Eight non-league girls’ basketball games involving L-L League teams on Wednesday night.
The most relieved team at the end of the night was Conestoga Valley, which snapped a losing skid dating back almost exactly one year.
The Buckskins knocked off Manheim Central to end a 16-game losing streak, dating back to December 27, 2011, when CV beat Exeter in a non-league game over the holiday break.
The Bucks also matched last season’s win total in their third game.

Conestoga Valley 38, Manheim Central 37 - The streak is over. Jahnae Hall-Gaddy scored 16 points, Tyneishia Murray added 14 points and the Buckskins snapped a 16-game losing skid dating back to last season. CV, now 1-2, iced the game with an 11-4 fourth-quarter run. Sara Painter scored 12 points for the host Barons, who fell to 1-3.
Northern Lebanon 39, Tulpehocken 19 - Mariah LiBrandi and Emily Brandt scored nine points apiece for the host Vikings, who jumped out to a 13-3 lead after the first quarter and then outscored Tulpy 11-3 in the third quarter to put the game away and improve to 2-1.
Lampeter-Strasburg 52, Warwick 36 - Taylor Lininger scored 19 points to pace a balanced attack, and the Pioneers overcame a 2-point first quarter, outscoring the host Warriors 37-23 in the second to improve to 3-0. Lexie Lantz chipped in with 11 points - giving her 907 career points - and Bailey Corbin added 10 points for L-S. Madison Derr scored nine points for Warwick, which led 7-2 after the first quarter, but fell to 0-3.
Ephrata 46, Exeter 29 - Sarah Hoffer scored 14 points for the Mountaineers, who bolted to a 31-14 halftime lead and cruised past the host Eagles. Ephrata improved to 2-1.
Pequea Valley 35, Lancaster Country Day 13 - Alyssa Hershey scored nine points, and the host Braves closed the game on a 23-7 blitz and improved to 2-2.
Lebanon Catholic 61, Lancaster County Christian 17 - Two games and two big victories for the host Beavers, who jumped out to a 26-1 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Helene Reist scored 13 points and Holly Marinkov and Abby Shay added 10 points apiece for Lebanon Catholic, which improved to 2-0 after beating Lititz Christian 60-14 in its opener.
Lebanon 51, Governor Mifflin 50 - Alicia Haitos scored 10 points, including three foul shots with time running out after she was fouled on a 3-point attempt, lifting the Cedars past the host Mustangs. Brittany Ulrich paced Lebanon with 12 points, as the Cedars improved to 1-2.
Spring Grove 60, Penn Manor 54 - Morgan Arden pumped in 23 points, and the Rockets overcame a 31-28 halftime deficit with a 15-9 third-quarter run and knocked off the host Comets. Kelly Shertzer scored 17 points and Mikayla Fry added 15 points for Penn Manor, which slipped to 1-2.
