Harrisburg, the No. 3 seed, took out Mid-Penn rival Cumberland Valley, the No. 6 seed, 47-28 in a District 3 AAAA quarterfinal last Saturday afternoon at Severance Field in Harrisburg.
Rob Martin showed the way for the Cougars, rushing for a District 3 single-game record 360 yards, as Harrisburg (587) and CV (313) combined to rush for 900 yards, another single-game District 3 mark.
Several District 3 records went by the wayside in this one.

This game also turned out to be the last for longtime CV coach Tim Rimpfel, who retired on Monday.
