This week's Mid-Penn Conference lacrosse championships have undergone a slight schedule change as announced Monday by Central Dauphin athletic director John Confer, the Mid-Penn's lacrosse chairman.
Citing a host of makeup game that still need to be played through the early part of the week, Confer has moved the Mid-Penn boys' lacrosse championship game between Hershey and Carlisle to Saturday at Landis Field's Speed Ebersole Stadium. Start time is 1 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. as part of a Mid-Penn girl-boy championship final at Landis Field.
The Mid-Penn girls' championship final between Cumberland Valley and Hershey will still be played Thursday at Landis field, but with a new start time of 6 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
The District 3 boys' and girls' lacrosse playoffs are set to begin on May 13.
