Hershey won the White Rose Invitational girls' team title at Central York on Saturday afternoon by .52 seconds.
Actually, the Trojans won by 1.5 team points, scoring 93.5 to Dallastown's 92. But that difference in scoring came from Gabi Broschard's victory in the 3200-meter run.
Broschard won the 3200 with an 11:53.03, just ahead of Dallastown's Lydia Trout, who had an 11:53.55.
In addition, Broschard won the 1600 with a 5:17.57. She also was part of the winning 4x800 relay that timed in at 9:58.36.
Mya Christopher, Rachel Groves and Megan Ingalls also ran in the 4x800.
Another key win for the Trojans came in the 800, where Groves was first with a 2:28.92 and Hannah Jones was second with a 2:29.02.
In the field, Caroline Cotton won the high jump for Hershey with a 4-10.
Middletown's Brianna Bennett won two events, taking the shot with a 36-1/2 and the discus with a 97-3.
