Ladies and gentlemen, baseball is actually being played outdoors on this glorious first day of April. Today's schedule is packed with division and league dust ups, so check back later this evening as we round up all the action as the game's filter in.

MID-PENN COMMONWEALTH - Standings

Mifflin County 3, Cumberland Valley 2 » Box Score

Isaiah Kearns belted a solo home run in the top of the first and the Huskies used a 3-for-4 performance by Gage Reeseman to undercut the host Eagles. Kearns even chipped in a RBI single in Mifflin County's two-run fifth, helping reliever Heath Hidlay notch the win. Hidlay fanned four in three relief innings. Jack Legore, Mitchel Lacey and Jordan Frazier tagged two hits apiece for Cumberland Valley, which stranded a runner in the last of the seventh. Eagles pitcher Christian McClure, who scattered six hits and walked four, shouldered the loss.
