Gettysburg senior sniper Cami Boehner led all midstate girls’ basketball players in scoring this past season, pumping in 21.4 points per game for the Warriors.
The Bloomsburg recruit and 1,000-point scorer kept up her scoring prowess Saturday in the Pennsylvania vs. Maryland all-star game in the 38th Roundball Showcase at Harrisburg Christian.
Boehner bucketed six 3-pointers and poured in a game-high 26 points, helping PA pick off MD 97-77. She hit four 3s and scored 16 second-half points for PA, which bolted to a 48-36 halftime lead and cruised from there.
Manheim Township’s Kaitlyn Van Tash, a Lebanon Valley College recruit, scored all 14 of her points in the second half, and Megan Smith, who helped West Perry win the District 3-AAA title and make a spirited state-playoff run, added 13 points for PA, which was coached by Harrisburg Christian’s Steve Bechtel.
Harrisburg Christian’s Samantha Krasevic, Susquehannock’s Shannon Druck — a Holy Cross recruit who helped the Warriors reach the District 3-AAA title game as the No. 1 seed — and Manheim Township’s Alex Leslie, a University of Rochester recruit, all scored eight points for PA.
Phil-Mont Christian’s Jana Goodman plucked a team-high 10 rebounds for PA.
Lana Long, from Walkersville, had 11 rebounds and 10 points and her high school teammate, Tyra Hughes, a Navy recruit, hit three treys and scored a team-high 16 points for Maryland.
