Hanover senior Ian Brown has placed three times at the PIAA Class AA wrestling championships. The District 3 champion is part of the deepest weight class in Class AA with four wrestlers, including Brown, with two or fewer losses.
In his preliminary bout Thursday morning, Brown was impressive in recording a 15-0 technical fall victory. Brown was strong on his feet, and turned Huntingdon senior Devon Green three or four times using different moves.
What’s more impressive than the 15 points, was the bout lasted 5:08 and Brown, a three-time place winner at states, didn’t surrender a point. The senior will wrestle Bedford senior Ryan Easter in the quarterfinal round Friday morning.
