Shake-ups aplenty in this week’s PennLive girls’ basketball Class AA state rankings.

Our objective this week was to reward district champions and teams that continue to have hot seasons heading into the PIAA playoffs.

So several teams got bumped up and several teams got bumped.

The top three remained unchanged: District 12 champ and undefeated Neumann-Goretti is at the top, followed by WPIAL champ Seton-La Salle and WPIAL runner-up Burrell.

Yes, we kept Burrell at No. 3; the Bucs were 25-0 going into the WPIAL finale, where they fell to Seton-La Salle. So hardly a bad loss there, especially in the playoffs.

Three new teams made the Class AA top 10 this week: District 10 champ General McLane, District 6 champ Bellwood-Antis and District 9 champ Karns City.

Here is the Class AA top 10 and honorable mention picks, with overall records heading into the state playoffs and home district in parenthesis
