Defending champions competing*:

Alexandra Rockett, Wilson: Last year, won the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.42. This year, seeded No. 3 with a 24.09. Also, last year, won the 100 backstroke with a 55.11. This year, seeded No. 3 with a 58.50.

Niki Price, Northeastern: Last year, won the 100 butterfly with a 55.62. This year, seeded No. 1 with a 57.19.

* - Meaghan Raab of Hershey won the 100 freestyle and the 200 freestyle last year, but will be competing in the 200 Indvidual Medley and 100 backstroke this year.

Close calls:

200 freestyle: No. 1 seed Samantha Marino of Cocalico enters with a seed time of 1:54.09. No. 2 seed Nicole Smith of Dover enters with a seed time of 1:54.44.

100 freestyle: No. 1 seed Madelyn Veith of Hershey enters with a seed time of 52.09. No. 2 seed MacKenzie Gring of Muhlenberg enters with a seed time of 52.42.

50 freestyle: No. 1 seed Veith enters with a seed time of 23.41. No. 2 seed Meredith Newman of Manheim Twp. enters with a seed time of 24.07.

Record alert:

200 medley relay: The current record of 1:45.18 was set by Wilson in 2010. Hershey enters with a seed time of 1:45.20.

100 backstroke: The current record of 55.11 was set by Rockett last year. Meaghan Raab of Hershey enters with a seed time of 55.16.
