Caroline Scarff dominated in the post with 21 points, Lancaster Catholic bolted to a 19-2 first-quarter lead, and the Section 4 champ Crusaders knocked off Section 2 runner-up Cocalico 52-42 in an L-L League quarterfinal on Monday night in Lancaster.

Lancaster Catholic (22-1) gets Section 1 champ and undefeated Manheim Township in a much-anticipated L-L semifinal on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Conestoga Valley.
The winner there gets the Cedar Crest vs. Lebanon survivor in Friday’s L-L title game at 7 p.m. at Manheim Township.

Cocalico (15-8) is off to the District 3-AAAA playoffs, where the Eagles will get Section 2 foe Lebanon in a first-round game on Feb. 19.

After falling behind by 17 points in the first quarter, Cocalico hung tough, slicing the Crusaders’ lead to 28-13 at the break.
Cocalico used a 15-12 third-quarter clip to gain more ground, and whittled Lancaster Catholic’s lead down to 9 points in the fourth quarter.
Erin Holt hit a pair of 3-pointers and added 8 points and Hannah Knowlton chipped in with 8 points for the Crusaders, who won their 22nd game in a row, and took one step closer toward an L-L three-peat.
Marissa Gingrich, who joined the 1,000-point club last Friday, led Cocalico with 19 points.
