Cedar Crest’s school board is set to vote on the school’s next head varsity football coach on Monday night.

Falcons’ athletic director Rob Snyder has called a press conference to introduce the new coach on Tuesday afternoon.

According to sources, we’re hearing Rob Wildasin is the selection, and that the school board will vote for his approval on Monday.

Wildasin is employed as a teacher by the Cedar Crest district,  and recently he’s served as an assistant football coach under Terry Lehman at Annville-Cleona.

The Falcons’ job opened in late March when Tom Waranavage stepped down after five seasons.

Cedar Crest went 11-39 under his watch, including 3-7 last fall.

Wildasin has also served as an assistant football coach at Cedar Crest, and he's a boys' basketball assistant coach for Annville-Cleona.
