Hello, Donegal.
The Indians — the very same bunch that went 6-36 the last two seasons — won their third game in a row on Friday night.
And this one will certainly turn some heads around not only the L-L League, but also District 3.
Donegal 52, Lampeter-Strasburg 33 in an L-L Section 3 head-to-head opener in Mount Joy.
Rachel Robinson popped in 17 points and the upstart Indians closed the game on a 30-15 run, snapping L-S’s 9-game league winning streak dating back to last season, when the Pioneers bolted to the Section 3 championship with a glittering 15-1 mark.
L-S suffered its first loss this season, and fell out of a first-place tie in Section 3 — which is now ruled by Elco, which won its fourth game in a row, a 35-33 squeaker over Garden Spot, to take over sole possession of the top spot at 4-0.
Donegal, L-S and Garden Spot are all now tied for second behind Elco in Section 3 heading into the holiday break.

Section 2 also got a bit of a facelift on Friday:
Conestoga Valley saw its five-game winning streak come to a screeching halt with a 40-37 setback at Lebanon. Despite the loss, the Buckskins remained alone in first place, but now they have some company; Cocalico, Ephrata and Lebanon are all tied for second and are on the Bucks’ heels at the holiday break.

Zero changes in Section 4 on Friday.
Lancaster Catholic improved to 4-0 and remained alone atop the heap compliments of a 75-31 romp over Annville-Cleona, which has hit the skids after a quick start.
With point guard Kayla Parks on the shelf with a gimpy ankle, the Little Dutchmen have lost three in a row after a 3-1 start, and are tied for second in Section 4 with Columbia and Lebanon Catholic.
