Susquehanna Twp.'s Justin Gassert. - (CHRIS KNIGHT, The Patriot-News)

WHERE: 7 p.m. Friday, West Shore Stadium
RECORDS: Susquehanna Twp. 7-2, 5-1 Keystone; Red Land 6-3, 3-3.

THE INDIANS: Have answers some questions in the past month and surged to a 3-seed in the District 3-AAA power ratings. While LB Justin Gassert (10) & Co. have been strong all season, QB Jordan Baskerville (16) and the offense is surging like Sandy. Multiple sets has handed WR Jordan Banks (12), RB Lorin Butler (34) and others more looks. That has forced foes to account for more than versatile RB Colby Grant (7).

THE PATRIOTS: One week after giving Bishop McDevitt a 24-minute battle, Chad Weaver’s crew failed to slow down Hershey. Welcoming in a high-powered O, after gifting 406 total yards to the Trojans, is difficult, so a ton of pressure falls on LBs Cristian Fetrow (35) and Kyle Searfoss (10). On the flip side, RBs Josh Hershey (36) and John Ford (5) have to negotiate a very good ‘Hanna run defense.

EPLER SAYS: With the postseason looming, it appears that Susquehanna Twp. (-15) is clicking on all cylinders. Can’t say the same for Red Land.
