Key players
Matt Hess, 5-10 sr G
Zach Lehman, 6-3 sr F

Back-door cuts: Highly capable of sliding past defending champ Lancaster Catholic to claim Section 4 supremacy, as the Blazers return three starters (Hess, Lehman, Collazo) and a lot more varsity experience from a team that won 16 games. Mennonite will often be outsized by foes, but Groff likes his team's maturity and quickness. This inclusive Section 4 race might just come down to who's hot late in the season.

Projected order of finish in L-L Section 4: 2nd of 6

First game: Saturday night, 7:30, at Daniel Boone

First home game: Tuesday, Dec. 10, 7:30 vs. Conestoga Valley

Song playing on Pandora when preview posted (completely meaningless stat!): "Thunder" by Nuttin' But Stringz
