Andre Robinson rushed for 287 yards and three touchdowns, and Bishop McDevitt won its fourth District 3-AAA championship in a row on Friday night, compliments of a 48-7 romp over Manheim Central in frigid Hersheypark Stadium.
The Crusaders improved to 13-1 overall and have now won the last four AAA crowns since bumping down from AAAA in 2010.
Bishop McDevitt will get a state semifinal rematch vs. Erie Cathedral Prep (13-0) next Friday. Prep is riding a 28-game winning streak, and knocked out the Crusaders in the PIAA semis last fall.
Manheim Central finished its season 13-1 overall; the Barons were denied a 17th District 3-AAA title.
