Ryan Myers bagged two scores, while Darin Ngau and Matt Weinstock-Collins chipped in one apiece as 10th-seeded Lancaster Country Day doubled up No. 2 Covenant Christian 4-2 at Northeastern.
Staked to a 3-0 lead behind finishes from Ngau, Weinstock-Collins and Myers -- Dale Mylin's Cougars (13-5-1) were up 3-0 before the first half's midway point arrived -- Country Day was on its way to the semis.
While Covenant responded with markers from Nathan White and Richard Prensner -- Joe Sanelli's crew (15-2-1) pulled to within 3-2 before halftime arrived -- Myers' second-half penalty kick added insurance for LCD.
Up next for Lancaster Country Day is a third meeting with Tri-Valley League playmate Greenwood in Tuesday's semis at Cumberland Valley. Greenwood won both regular-season meetings, claiming 4-0 and 6-1 victories.
