District 3 has released a statement concerning the on-field incident during Annville-Cleona’s football game against Hamburg last Friday.
Video replays show a Hamburg player striking an Annville-Cleona player with a helmet multiple times.
Hamburg's Joey Cominsky and Annville-Cleona's Tyler Prentice were ejected from the game, and South Annville police are considering filing charges.

Here is the statement from District 3:
Please note that District 3 will not conduct a hearing tomorrow (Wednesday) into the incident that occurred during Friday's football game between Hamburg and Annville-Cleona.
Although District 3 has the authority to request information from member schools on a number of matters, it has chosen not to ask either school to appear at this time.
The matter is currently being handled by both schools. If either school requests a hearing on the matter, District 3 will make a determination at that time and alert the media and general public as to the status of the matter.
The fact that District 3 has chosen not to take any steps at this time does not preclude action by the district at a future date if the committee feels such action is warranted.
The District 3 Committee will meet Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Mountain Laurel Conference Center behind the Hotel Hershey; it is a regularly scheduled meeting. Media and the public are welcome to attend.
