MANHEIM — Happy days in Neffsville last fall, when Manheim Township’s football team won seven games, including a victory in the first round of the District 3 Class AAAA playoffs.
It was a successful season — in Mark Evans’ first season on the job marching the Blue Streaks’ sideline.
Took a little while to get used to Evans wearing Manheim Township’s colors — not Elco’s colors, where he spent his entire head-coaching career before coming to the Blue Streaks last year.
Could be a few growing pains in Streaks’ camp; Manheim Township lost playmakers Brennan Scott and Tyler Karpinski to graduation, plus some thumpers along the line of scrimmage.

But there should be plenty of good vibes swimming around the program, coming off last year’s success.
