LAMPETER — Lampeter-Strasburg is coming off a 6-5 season and a trip to the District 3 Class AAA playoffs.
The Pioneers are now a year removed from back-to-back Section 2 championships, and — like most prep football teams — have some holes to plug before the season gets started on Aug. 30.
L-S lost a couple of two-way thumpers in Jeff Pickel and Jason Lindsley, and those guys must be replaced at guard and linebacker.

But there is a solid nucleus returning, spearheaded by soph QB Collin Shank and an experience defensive line.
