LANCASTER - Three L-L League girls' soccer players have earned All-State status.
Section 1 MVP Haleigh Echard from Cedar Crest.
Section 2 MVP Bailey Corbin from Lampeter-Strasburg.
And Setion 2 First-Team All-Star Kat Lawver from Cocalico.
That threesome will be honored by the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association at a banquet in Harrisburg on January 26, 2013.
Echard, a Penn State recruit, helped the Falcons win their first L-L League championship.
Corbin helped L-S win the Section 2 championship.
And Lawver helped the Eagles not only win their first L-L League playoff game ever, but she helped Cocalico get all the way to the league final, where the Eagles fell to Echard and the Falcons in penalty kicks.
Lawver will play soccer at the Division I level; she's a Canisius recruit.
