Fisher threw a 122-10 on her final attempt of the District 3-AA discus competition to win the gold medal. She would finish sixth at the state meet with a 116-4.
But her throwing success was not limited to one event. Fisher was second in the shot at the District 3 Meet with a 36-9.
At the Tri-Valley Meet, Fisher won both the discus and shot with a 115-8 and a 35-1 ¾, respectively.
