An even one dozen L-L League teams will show up for a game and/or practice on Tuesday, after Monday's Memorial Day off-day.
Two baseball teams - Lampeter-Strasburg and McCaskey - are alive in the District 3 semifinals.
Four softball teams - Hempfield in Class AAA, Donegal and Manheim Central in Class AAA and Pequea Valley in Class AA - are alive in the District 3 semifinals.
Three boys' volleyball teams - Hempfield in Class AAA and Lancaster Mennonite and Manheim Central in Class AA - will play in first-round PIAA matches this week.
And three lacrosse teams - Manheim Township's girls' and boys' teams and Penn Manor's girls' team - also have first-round PIAA games this week.
Baseball and softball have semifinals on Tuesday and championship games on Thursday across the board.
Volleyball and lacrosse have those first-round games on Wednesday, with the quarterfinal round set for Saturday.
