Red Land 9, CD East 5: The Patriots officially locked up the outright division title as Jamie Eshleman scored the go-ahead run during Red Land's four-run rally in the ninth. Eshleman went 3-for-5 with three runs while Shane Dressler (two RBIs), Jake Payne and Jeremy Hileman all cracked two hits. Chambersburg 8, State College 7: Jesse Helman played the hero with a fifth-inning RBI single. Trailing 7-0 after 1½ innings, the Little Lions sent 11 men to the plate in the bottom of the second to square the match. But reliever Tyghe Bowers helped State College strand runners in position in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, lifting the Trojans.

State College 8, Mifflin County 4: The Lions opened a rare Tuesday double-header with a complete-game performance by hurler Ben Finlan. The game-winner survived 12 hits, thanks to Dan Fry's two-run single that snapped a 4-all deadlock in the bottom of the sixth. Fry finished with two hits.

KEYSTONE

Mechanicsburg 4, Palmyra 1: The Wildcats strengthened their District 3 position by capitalizing on five Palmyra errors. Bobby Mentzer and Dustin Daihl banged two hits apiece behind game-winner Parker Beatty. The latter fired six solid innings, striking out two against five hits. Mitchell Sauley, who plated Palmyra's lone run in the first, shouldered the loss.

Susquehanna Twp. 4, Bishop McDevitt 2: Anthony Atticks worked all seven frames, limited the Crusaders to three hits, and Joe Runyan fueled the Indians' O with a big two-run double. Runyan posted two hits in the regular-season ender for both clubs.

CAPITAL

Northern 15, Steel-High 0: Anthony Salomone had a big day in Northern's regular-season finale in Steelton. Salomone ripped a home run and finished 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. TRI-VALLEY

Halifax 3, East Juniata 2: This one had more shootouts than a Charles Bronson movie, but the Wildcats eventually claimed at least a share of the league title with three runs in the wild third. Jarrett Hoy posted the initial run on a wild pitch by Nick Lorenz, who fanned 11 yet shouldered the loss. After another wild pitch put two men in position, Dan Osenbach made it hurt with a two-run single. The Cats also threw out a pair of runners at home during East Juniata's developing threat in the first. Game-winner Hunter Hilinski survived nine hits – East Juniata outhit the Cats 9-3 – while striking out six. Nick Stahr, Dalton Rowe and Dillon Leonard all cracked two hits in the loss.

Line Mountain 14, Juniata 4: Austin Snyder's three-run jack and a mammoth 5-for-5 afternoon by JP Lenker fueled the Eagles.
