Audrey Ebert's eighth goal of the night proved to be the biggest as she found the back of the net in overtime to give Lower Dauphin a 20-19 win over much-improved Cedar Crest Monday evening.
Taylor Lister added six goals and three assists and Taylor Bracale chipped in a goal and four assists for Lower Dauphin, which has already clinched a District 3 playoff berth.
LD will also await the result of Tuesday's Hershey-Chambersburg game. If Hershey wins, it will face LD Thursday in a Mid-Penn Keystone tiebreaker at Landis Field (5 p.m.). The winner will advance to the Mid-Penn championship game.
Cedar Crest, meanwhile, will face Manheim Twp. in Wednesday's Lancaster-Lebanon League semifinals. The Falcons entered Monday's game clinging to the 16th and final District 3 playoff spot.
CUMBERLAND VALLEY 19, SPRING GROVE 2:The Eagles led 11-1 at the half and cruised the rest of the way in York County. Emma Hager, Caitlin Rhoades and Alex Mandak accounted for 15 goals for CV, which can clinch the Mid-Penn Commonwealth title Tuesday with a win over Northern.
STATE COLLEGE 21, LEWISBURG 4:Caitlin McGlaughlin, Katie Mahon and Kendall Loviscky each scored four goals in an easy win for the Little Lions. Carrie Mahon added three goals and six assists for SC, which needs a loss from Cumberland Valley Tuesday in order to force a Mid-Penn Commonwealth tiebreaker.
HEMPFIELD 19, HERSHEY 13:Shannon Barto led a balanced effort with four goals as the Black Knights turned back the Trojans in a battle between two District 3 playoff-bound clubs. Corrie Anderson led Hershey with five goals.
