That was Middletown Saturday afternoon as neighborhood rival Steel-High used big play after big play to subdue their neighborhood rival 27-7 in Mid-Penn Capital Division football.
In the opening 24 minutes, the Rollers (4-3, 1-3) only ran 18 offensive plays, to Middletown's 43, but produced a 12-0 advantage via Dywan Blanding's 72-yard punt return and 6-yard burst by Shaheim Moody-Williams.
Middletown's inability to close out drives continued throughout as the Blue Raiders surrendered a pair of fumbles, an interception and turned it over three times on downs.
In addition, Steel-High extended its third-quarter lead to 14-0 when Middletown (0-7, 0-4) snapped the ball out of the endzone on a punt attempt.
Middletown RB Chris Hollomon carried 31 times for those 189 yards while Josh Matinchek, who posted the Raiders' lone touchdown deep in the fourth quarter, added 82 stripes on 12 totes.
A James Warren pick-6, stretching 60 yards, capped the Rollers big day with 3:42 to go.
