The District 3 girls' tennis championship draws were released late Wednesday. The tournament kicks off Thursday at noon with the Class AA team tennis quarterfinals, and runs through next Saturday, Oct. 20, culminating with the doubles finals. Singles competition begins Saturday at 1.
All events are being held at the Hershey Racquet Club.
Among the highlights:
Hershey is the top-seeded team in Class AAA; Trojans' No. 1 and newly-crowned Mid-Penn champion Libby Nolan draws the fourth seed in singles bracket. Camp Hill's Eleanor Gerhard, the MPC's Class AA champ, is the No. 4 seed in AA, while L-L AA champ Maddie Shaak of Elco is third.
