MONDAY NIGHT'S SEMIFINALS
(3) Berks Catholic (Berks, 24-3) vs. (2) Donegal (L-L, 25-1), Giant Center, 6:30 p.m.
* Snip Esterly's Saints, the defending champs, needed overtime to rally past upstart Bishop McDevitt 58-56 in the quarterfinals. ... Ryan Butt's Indians rolled through L-L foe Lancaster Catholic 51-32 to reach this stage. ... BC's 6-9 junior center Nana Foulland was a beast vs. McDevitt, particularly late, scoring a game-high 23 points to will the Saints into the semis. ... Senior Jason Dietrich led a typically balanced Donegal attack with 21 vs. LC. ... Believe it or not, these teams have zero mutual foes this season. ... Big question: Will Berks Catholic's confidence be heightened after rallying or on thin ice after being outplayed for much of the game against the young Crusaders? ... Big question #2: Can Donegal, particularly 6-6 senior forward Matt Foltz, find a way to contain Foulland?

* Pete Conrad's Cougars rode the 3-point game to a 78-67 quarterfinal victory over Boiling Springs. ... Vince Rogers' Indians were far from sharp but survived to edge Northeastern 43-38 to get to this point. ... Key for the 'Hanna Tribe? Keep an eye on Palmyra's Adam Newhard, who dropped six triples en route to 26 points against the Bubblers. ... Joe Marshall bucketed a team-high 12 points, and drew a game-changing charge late, in the victory over the Bobcats. ... These Mid-Penn Keystone rivals split the regular season series, and both featured fourth-quarter rallies. Palmyra won a 65-57 contest on Jan. 4, the only Keystone loss for the Indians. And Township posted a 63-53 comeback win on Jan. 29. ... Susquehanna Twp. can't afford another game like it had vs. Northeastern, and we expect that served as a wakeup call for the Tribe.
